Little Tooshie Cream (Recipe)

DIAPER CREAM
Young Living 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oil recipe for sensitive tooshies!

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil
  • (optional: 1-2 tsp. of beeswax)
  • 10 drops Lavender
  • 10 drops Frankincense
  • 10 drops Gentle Baby

*Lavender, Frankincense, and Gentle Baby are all superb skin support oils.

  1. Whip coconut oil with a fork until soft and creamy.
  2. Add essential oils, whipping well after each one.
  3. Apply to baby bum at every diaper change, or at the first sign of redness. Coconut oil is the perfect carrier oil for diaper cream because of its natural yuck-fighting properties, but it does begin to melt at about 75-80 degrees.
Tip: If you live in a warm climate, consider stirring 1-2 tsp of melted beeswax into your coconut oil. This will give your cream a higher level of moisture protection and help it to remain solid at warmer temperatures. 100% pure beeswax pellets can be purchased on amazon.com or at any health food store.
